Hi! My name is Mia, and I am a food enthusiast and content creator who’s passionate about discovering delicious meals and sharing them with a community that loves food as much as I do. From honest restaurant reviews to easy, wholesome recipes made with high-quality ingredients, I aim to make food both approachable and exciting. I also share bits of travel, wellness, and fitness because I believe living well goes hand in hand with eating well. Whether it’s a new spot in town or a home-cooked favorite, I focus on flavor, quality, and balance, always with an eye on budget-friendly choices and mindful living.

Growing up in a small town just outside of Detroit, I was lucky to be raised in a home where food was more than just fuel — it was culture, creativity, and connection. My family made it a priority to expose me to different cuisines and high-quality ingredients, which shaped the way I view food today. Some of my earliest and most cherished memories involve growing scotch bonnet peppers and vibrant tomatoes in my dad’s garden, then spending cozy Sunday afternoons cooking in the kitchen with my parents.

My Caribbean heritage, specifically Trinidadian roots, played a huge role in shaping my palate and curiosity around flavor. I’ll never forget the excitement when my grandma returned from Trinidad, suitcase filled with goodies — like homemade pepper sauce and fresh green seasoning — so my mom could bring a taste of home to our meals. The kitchen always felt like a celebration of tradition and discovery.

My mom also made it a point to take my sister and me to authentic Thai and Vietnamese restaurants from a young age, sparking a lifelong love for Asian cuisine and expanding my appreciation for global flavors.
Today, that same joy and curiosity drives my content. Whether I’m crafting whole food recipes, reviewing restaurants, or sharing grocery hauls, my goal is to create content that feels inspiring, approachable, and rooted in the belief that food can be both nourishing and exciting. I want my audience to feel at home in my kitchen, and hopefully, inspired to explore their own.
